About The Event

DIY Natural Skin Care set

Want to be kind to your skin, the planet and your purse? Join this natural beauty product workshop for a sustainable pampering experience.

In this relaxed and hands on workshop you will learn how to use natural oils and Shea butter to keep your skin glowing. We will teach you how to make a nourishing hand and body salve, a soothing lip balm and an invigorating body scrub.  We will show you how natural aromas can have positive effects on our body and mind and how you can incorporate them into unique homemade beauty products. Our experienced facilitator will take you step by step through the recipes and share her own low waste beauty routine.

You will leave with your own beauty product kit to use or gift to loved ones, as well as recipe cards to replicate them at home.

Making your own beauty products will save you money, reduce packaging waste and is less harmful for your health and the environment. A perfect workshop to learn something new, share tips on low-waste living and meet like-minded people.

All tools and materials will be provided. We ask you to bring your own containers, such as jars or takeaway containers, to take your products home in. You may also want to wear an apron.

Rethink Reduce Reuse Together

All bookings are non-refundable, so please double-check your calendar! Contact us for our full cancellation policy.

About Us:

Sunny Jar Eco Hub is a not-for-profit social enterprise, founded by Maud and Linda who want to make low waste living easy and accessible for all. We are on a mission to get Londoners rethinking their waste, reusing what they've got and up-cycling! A sustainable textiles artist, Maud has been living low waste for a number of years and is a keen up cycler, creating beautiful weaves, jewellery and bags from waste materials. Linda is a health and wellbeing professional who wants to share her passion of sustainable living with others. A healthy person can only exist with a healthy environment!
