About The Event

What if Food was the answer for looking after ourselves and the planet?

As we grow more and more conscious of the negative impact of processed food and animal protein on our health, we are also struggling to find time to cook from scratch in our busy lives. With the majority of our waste being single-use food packaging, how can we look after ourselves, find time, save money and reduce our use of plastics?

This workshop is for you if you are looking for ideas to reduce your waste and learn how to make easy and tasty vegan recipes with whole foods.

We will cook our favourite low waste plant based recipes and share tips as well as handy recipe cards so you can replicate them at home with time to eat and chat at the end of each session.

All the recipes are vegan. Please notify us if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.

25th May: Pickling and fermenting

We will pickled some veggies, make some saurkraut and show you how to make apple cider vinegar from apple scraps. Please bring along 3 medium jars as well as any veg you would like to pickle (Betroot, suede, carrot, cabbage, onion, parsnip and turnips...)

29th June : Everyday breads for beginners

27th July: Easy vegan spreads and cheeses

A perfect workshop to learn a new skill, share tips on low waste living and meet like-minded people.
